2003 was the Centenary year for our church. To help celebrate this, the session felt that it would be good to have several special events to help focus our thanksgiving and celebrations.

Things planned included a Centenary dinner, a family ceilidh and a special concert with music from local schools.

We also had a special October Holiday Club of white water rafting and other wild canyon adventures!

To focus our thanksgiving we felt that we should adopt two special charities for the year, which superbly illustrate the commission Christ left his church. To spread the Good News and look after His sheep.

The charities are:-

• The Ahanta bible translation work being led by Sammy Ntumi more info
• A Christian Rumanian charity helping the poorest people in that country
