The Playgroup meets in St Columba's Lessor hall on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Our children develop their skills through the creative use of play while learning how to work together with other young people. Playgroup has a limited number of children, from 2 years 10 months to 5 year olds, but still has a few spaces for August's session. Our qualified playgroup staff are supported by a rota of mums as they enthuse the children with a wonderful range of activities. The Baby & Toddler group has two sessions; both on Wednesdays one in the morning, one afternoon. This is for the under 3s. The Baby and Toddler group aims to provide a safe happy environment where Kilmacolm mothers can meet together and socialise or discuss issues with other mums at the same stage, while their children play together and learn to socalise too. Learning to play with other children is a huge step for under twos and needs to be encouraged to help our children develop their full potential.
